Urubage Dark & Medium Roast

This is one of my great favorites. The south Indian style of Madras coffee is perhaps not well known to you. But I would suggest for all of you who are new to the bean, start here. This is a blend of coffee beans with a small amount of chicory. Chicory is a wonderful herb that mellows the flavor of the bean and it is very healthy. It brings balance to the bean and gives a slight taste of chocolate to the brew. The chicory makes the color very dark, but don’t be surprised. It doesn’t mean the coffee is stronger. It means it is more balanced. This makes Urubage a wonderful blend to use for cold brew and iced coffees. And Urubage is roasted in two options for medium and a bit longer for dark roast lovers.
